Went to get in the car this morning to go to work and some git had nicked BOTH the number plates! Had to phone police etc and ended up being very late for work, now have the inconvenience (and cost!) of getting new plates and there's always the chance that a car with our registration plates will be used in a robbery somewhere. What fun. I love Fridays, me. |

Amateurs.
If you are gonna "ring" a car you just take the numbers and have the plates made. That way the dibble chase the original car. Instead of running the risk of putting them on another car and havinng it recognised.
btw sorry your's got nicked.

Well if you've reported them stolen, the police will surely not accuse you of robbing any banks or anything? Will you be getting new plates now? Well, of course you will, I mean different numbers :o) |

Yeah, good thinking!
Cheers for the concern folks...I now have new number plates and it only set me back £35 so not too bad. Still could've done without the hassle though, and who's to know it won't happen again?! |
