Today I woke up in a bad mood, it was raining and I just wanted to stay in bed but I had to go out. So, I was walking while listening to Pipe Dreams live at Rock Am Ring 2001 (you know, when Fran said he would like to play with Fred Dust..."give me my red cap" lol). Anyway, when the song started, I lifted my head and saw a hummingbird flying just above me and it just hit me, it was a perfect moment! so perfect that I had to smile and the bad mood just went away...
What about you? Have you ever experienced something like that or I am the only "crazy" on the board?? ;) |

a perfect moment quite often is uber personal , tough to get into words . My reason for not adding to it |

I know exactly what you're talking about, just can't think of a specific example. But many times I've heard the right song at the right time and it turned my day around.
Slightly different but when I went into labor with my son we got in the car and "Beautiful Day" by U2 started playing. It was a great song to associate with his birth. I still think of that when I hear it. |

LOL...
Maybe it's not a perfect moment, but everytime I'm walking and HAPPY starts playing in my mp3 player, I can't help smiling! |

I had a perfect moment when we were on vacation in Arizona. We were out in the middle of nowhere. There were two hotels and a Burger King and that was it for MILES. It was late at night and we were hungry, so we went to the BK. Next to the BK there were examples of Native American mud houses. I went into one of them and stood in the middle and looked out the hole in the top where the smoke goes out. At that moment, a shooting star went across the sky and I saw it through that little hole. It was the first shooting star I had ever seen. |

I live in Arizona which is famous for its sunsets and everytime I am driving or walking and happen to witness one. It always calms me and reminds me that we live in a beautiful world.

I often have perfect moments when listening to sigur ros. I know damn me for mentioning another band but there is something in their music that chills me so much I might as well be meditating. So peaceful and happy.
I get moments like this lots but it is hard to describe and personal lol. |
