I've found a new love, but I'm kind of starting blindly. Could anyone recommend Neil Young albums I should go for first? I've got Harvest and the first Buffalo Springfield album but now I don't know where to go!

You HAVE to buy 'After The Goldrush' and then 'Neil Young' ( 1968) starts with The Emporer of Wyoming. Sleeps with Angels I think you would like too :-) |

Are they the quintessential (sp?) ones?
I've ordered Neil Young. Huzzah! |

I'd say so yes . I have them on vinyl. After The Goldrush is a must. His later stuff is as good but somehow the early Neil Young is essential. I'm going to see him in March in Manchester :-) |

Buy an old VHS (not digitally fixed DVD) copy of 'The Last Waltz'. Not only will you get to enjoy him play the great 'Helpless' along with the Band, you'll get to laugh and marvel in wonderment at the big cocaine bogie he has hanging from his nose all the way through the song. |
