A description of the songs? You say they are a departure, but the only one we have heard is Friends, which is not a departure from the norm in any way.
In what way did you think they were a departure?

They were a lot darker, heavier and more aggressive. Very Blue Flashing Light. It was quite jarring actually. Especially as we weren't expecting it. Don't get me wrong,
I love Blue Flashing Light and I thought the music was brilliant, just let me get used to it! The Friends version you've heard and seen, was definitely not the version they performed. Apart from the one that was recorded.

Not too keen on Friends but these others sound awesome!
