*hugs* I miss the board so much now that I have a job! lol! It's going really well though!! Everyone is super nice and there's a ton of work to do and it's kind of confusing because we put different content in the paper depending on where it's going to and the folder system takes some getting used to. But as far as writing and layout, it's going well. :) I felt sick today so my editor let me go home a few hours early. I'm going to an event on Saturday so that will make up for it anyway.
Juli, what is the possible subject of your essay? |

Yeah...he hasn't read it yet though. They're taking my picture for it Friday. :/
I asked the boss if it could be like an over the shoulder glamour shot, lol. He said no. I was bummed. ;) |

Anne's Rant of the Day:
1) The weather here is killing me. It's close to freezing, rainy and then it's 78 degrees! That may sound wonderful but it's happening in a matter of hours so it's a shock to your system. Then it's windy, then it's not. It's screwing with my allergies. I felt so sick this morning I was sure I had the flu. No, just the mold counts through the roof.
2) At work our biggest project right now is helping a great client with a really complicated real estate deal. I've realized I'm glad we hardly ever do anything in real estate. I hate it. It's lots of paper work and if one little thing changes you have to change it in 26 places. The seller's attorney is a total redneck douche who is in the office until about 2, yells and curses a lot, and doesn't even have email so I have to fax everything to him. And when he faxes us something I then have to type it out into a Word doc if we want to modify it. I guess that was the norm in, oh 1987, but come on!
It was supposed to close today (the other two tracts right next to it are still pending and still are a thorn in my side) but it didn't because some huge changes that are too boring to describe. But now the douche lawyer is positioning it so his client could possibly back out of the deal.
It also makes me appreciate that I don't work for a douche lawyer. |

No word on the TV thang. The producer had said if I didn't hear anything in about a month I could call him and he could try and see. A month will be 2/9.
Too bad about the glamour shot. It was a good idea.
You know what else is a good idea? Some sort of nasal vacuum that could suck all of the vile ook living in my sinuses. |

That's absurd!! If you don't know how to send e-mail by now, you shouldn't be working. Who hires a fool like that? I had a college PROFESSOR who didn't know how to use e-mail. Do you know how much money she probably makes and she can't figure it out? |

Are you feeling better now?
The class is Aesthetis Theory and Political Theory. I'm thinking of doing something related to the Futurist art movement (it was an avant-garde artistic movement from the begining of the 20th century), and analyze it from the perspective of some theories about the bond between art and technical developement in history...
If that makes any sense. My English left me tonight.
It's hard because the essay can be about anything, there are no limitations whatsoever. |

Well his client doesn't have email or even access to a fax so I know the title company has to mail him everything; someone has even driven things to him and he lives in another town about 1 hour away.
So THAT's who hires a lawyer like that! |

I know...the weather is crazy here too. Raining and in the 50s yesterday and freezing temps with snow and ice storm overnight. WTF? No wonder I felt like shit today and had to go home early. I get headaches really easily from weather changes.
