They're playing a lot of repeats of the US office in the UK. I'm loving it just now! Dwight is almost, almost, better than Gareth. Just a shame they didn't make him part of the National Guard (US equivalent of the Territorial Army!)

It really took me a while to get into the US version bc I loved the original so much. But once I stopped comparing every character to the original I was able to appreciate it as a funny show in its own right.

I am happy to hear someone from that side of the pond likes Dwight. All I ever seem to hear is "he's not Gareth." As cornax said they really shouldn't be compared so much. Just appreciated for their respective merits.

yeah...that's true! have you seen him in anything else though? he always seems to play such weird, eccentric characters! i liked him in Six feet under.
