My first assignment on the job is to write a column about myself. At first, I was thrilled about getting the chance to write a column. It's something new that I've never done before. But now I'm freaked out thinking about what I'm supposed to say to introduce myself! I'm so used to telling other people's stories. It's really hard to write about yourself because you don't want people to judge you.
I mean, besides being a bad ass, half Polish, Detroit She-Devil Motorcycle Gang member...LOL! :P |

That is exciting but I would be freaking out too! Why not start by writing a draft pretending this isn't going to be published and you're just introducing yourself to a friendly crowd (like us).
I doubt it'll be very usable but I think it'll give you some good ideas.
I think your family is pretty interesting...in a good way! You gotta give props to your grandma because she is so cute. |

Ask yourself the same questions you'd ask someone else. Then all you have to do is be intelligent, witting, charming and grammatically correct. Should be a piece of cake for a Motor City She-Devil. |

Sorry. I wasn't online all day. Was out and about with the boyfriend. It went well. It only took me about 20 minutes to write. I had my mom read it and she said it was "really good" so we'll see. I still gotta look it over again. :) Thanks guys. |
