Okay, so it doesn't officially begin until February 7th, but I know a lot of people who are celebrating it beginning this weekend. Peace, love and prosperity to all in the Year of the Rat:

1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008

Those born in the Year of the Rat are: imaginative, charming, generous to loved ones, hard-working, quick-tempered, and critical.

Compatible with: Dragons & Monkeys

Avoid: Horses

Good career choices: Writer, critic, publicist

Famous Rats:
Charlotte Bronte, Truman Capote, Catherine I, Wolfgang Mozart, William Shakespeare, George Washington, Plato, Peter Tchaikovsky.

What sign are you?

yeah, i remember back in the day where we'd get so excited to get "lucky" money in those bright red envelopes - a crisp $2 bill was great! Nowadays, kids expect nothing less than $5-$10...so spoiled! We definiitely enjoyed it more when we were kids.

I'm a horse (with fire element), so it's not supposed to be a good year. Rats and horses are not compatible.
