Hi Guys
I just wanted to ask a big favour. This is genuine, check out www.apbonecancertrust.org.uk
My son died at the age of 15 from bone cancer. Your track 'side' was played at his funeral. Would it be possible for you to send me something signed that we could auction to raise funds for his charity.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Gill

I was thinking... To say something like... "Oh god... This is so sad and I'm so sorry about your son, cause he was so young and so beautiful" but... I know that... My words can't change what happended.
And trust me when I say I totally understand you. I didn't lose a son, but I lose the two most important people in my life for a different kind of cancer.
I don't have a lot of money, but if you want to I have a picture of the four of them with autographs...
It's a picture taken in a photoshoot... I could send it to you, if you want to.

He might read this but I would suggest also messaging TWT to double up your chances of your request being communicated to the band.
Good luck and I am sorry for your loss. |

I'm very sorry to hear about your son. I really hope that Fran is able to read this thread. He checks the messageboard almost every day and posts quite often, so I don't see why he wouldn't want to help you out. Like Anne said, I would contact the Travis Web Team and also possibly consider changing the name of this thread from "side" to something that will catch Fran's attention, like "FAO:Fran - Bone Cancer Trust" or something along those lines. Again, I'm very sorry to hear about your son. Good luck! |

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's terrible.
I agree with Nikki and Karla about changing the name of the thread.
Good luck! *hugs* |

Can't you edit the post and change the subject, like I've done here, only it will change the title on the front page? I think you can :S
I'm very sorry to hear about your son.
EDIT: I've just noticed that I wrote 'brother' originally. I'm really sorry for being so crass and insensitive. |

Yes, if you edit the title of your original post, it will change the board subject line. |

Thank you all for your messages. They are very much appreciated. Will contact TWT as soon as I can get that part of the site working.
Thanks for the advice.
