...In Travis songs

In my opinion: :P

"I think you should be framed In some Fine Art gallery"
--I love you anyways--

"And while the cats were all sniffing glue"
--she's so strange--

"There's no devils haircut in my mind"
-- slide show--

"Sure it's a gas, stuck in an English class"
--20--

"Who would you eat if you were a cannibal? "
--a little bit of soul--

"You looked so beautiful I almost dried an eye"
--I Love You Anyways --

...your turn!

"Hangin' out, down the street, me and my homies and a couple of ho's we meet" - Definition Of Wrong

"Count the sheep jumping the fence, So I can see tee pees when I'm feeling tents" - Eyes Wide Open

"Hoping to find the next golden egg, one that will shine through the rest of time" - How Many Hearts (This is funny to me because before I read the lyrics when I first got the album, I thought it was "golden age"...which would make a lot more sense I think). :P

"That said, I like my wig and I hate myself, I know it's all in my head" - Tied to The 90s

for the most brilliants...

You've got to be just who you are... who you are
Safe

You have a voice, don't lose it
You have a choice, so choose it
You have a brain, so use it

Peace The Fuck Out

I'd pray to God if there was heaven
But heaven seems so very far from here

Pipe Dreams

If you took all the little feelings in your heart
And took all those little feelings apart

Last Train

Hey this is a good idea, the lyrics are always one of the greatest things in Travis-songs(=music)! I always seem to find the most brilliant lyrics in 'Driftwood' so

"Home is where the heart is
But your heart had to roam"

"Nobody is an island
Everyone had to go"

"Low is where your heart is
But your heart has to grow"

And this one gave a laugh and reminded me of someone:

"You keep the chocolate biscuits wired to a car alarm"
--Selfish Jean--

I love

"yesterday we talked together, but tonight its just the weather chilling me!"
The Line is Fine

Also with driftwood was listening to this cd interview, and Fran said it was going to be Caterpillars turn to Butterflies, but it was far too long so cut it short to "Pillars turn to butter" lol - if thats true, thats a class lyric in itself

Oh! I never thought of that "Driftwood" lyric in that way. If it's true, that's brilliant! That entire song is a poetic masterpiece in my opinion.

also
"moments last, and lifetimes are lost in a day"
