Hi! Do you know the band: The Do? There're a girl and a boy. The boy is french and the girl is from Finland ;) !!
Here in France there's a huge buzz with them!

it's pretty strange...i mean the girl is finnish..and i still havent heard of the band...;)
(though maybe i cant know what are all the finns doin;)

Oh, come ON, surely you know where all the 5,5 million Finns are at any given moment!
Seriously, the Do sounds interesting, but Olivia B. Merilahti seems to be pretty unknown here. And that's unusual, since normally as soon as a Finnish musician has had as much as one gig abroad, they're hailed as the new superstars. My guess is, that Olivia has been living in France for a long time, and hasn't done much in Finland. |

If you like The Do so you might like Cocoon. This time they are both french but still singing in english. There's their myspace page

I think she's not untypical Finn, maybe that's why she looks familiar (I thought so, too) |
