Hey everyone,
I just finished one of the demos i've been working on this evening. It took me three hours to fix the vocal, but it's done- and the end result is up on my page to listen to. It's called Home, and i'm quite proud of it. Despite it being a demo, i really tried to make it sound quite good..
Like i said, it's just a demo for now. We're re-recording the song next week; when we go into the studio with the intention of recording a 2-track EP, which hopefully should be with you in the springtime :) you can hear the new demo on my MySpace or on my Bebo Music Page.
Hope you like the new song in the mean time! :)

One Million Kisses will always be a special song to me. But i'm really proud of Home too. That version was recorded in our second rehearsal, and then i just overdubbed the guitar and vocals. So it's just really fresh and new to me right now. Very proud of both songs if i'm honest though! |

does anyone ever answer these kinds of threads after listening to a song and say it's shite if they think so?
i can't listen to the song (in the office) but i've often wondered what someone gets out of this if there is no honest constructive criticism? |

I don't mind if someone doesn't like it though. And if they have constructive criticism that's going to help me, then all the better. If they don't like it and slag me off cos of it, then i'll probably be upset, but if they say nothing then how am i to know...
I know i'm just starting out, so i guess criticism at whatever stage i'm at can't be a bad thing :) thanks for bringing that up though haz. Maybe someone won't be shy if they have criticism now :) |
