no , talk about intimidation . that announcer from Canada ?
Those are the local announcers - Mickey Redmond and Ken Daniels. Mickey was a Red Wing (50 goal scorer) back in the day and I think Ken *might* be from Canada originally. Sounds like it, eh?
I love that clip. I mean...I'm glad the dude is alright...but it was a fair play on Hasek's part. Plus it just kills me that they played "I believe I can fly" at the arena right after it happened. LOL!
Oooooooooooosgoooooooood!
Oooooooooooosgoooooooood!
I haven't seen a game in quite a while, but he always looked so nice and neat all the time. Always nice haircut, always shaved. So cute.
You know what, back in the day, I had my picture taken with the Stanley Cup at the Wayne County Sheriff's Department. They never gave me my picture! I finally found the guy who took the picture and he had no idea what happened to it. Man, I wanted that picture!

:O I can't believe you got a picture with the Stanely Cup. I've always wanted to touch it, lol. And if I got a chance to take a picture with it I'd look for Steve Yzerman's name and point to it with a big cheesy smile. :D

Oh, and you've got PMs.
It's Ozzie now? Like I said, I haven't seen a game in a while, but back when I was an avid fan it was a slow, mellow, "Oooooooooosgoooooood."
The cup is so huge in real life! I loved it when they won the cup the first time--Stevie showered with it (it was all sticky from the champagne) and one of the guys had professional pictures taken with his baby in it. Man, those were good days, before the terrible accident and all. We'd get a pizza and watch every game. I wonder how Vlady is doing. Have they mentioned him lately? He used to show up at a game once in a while and he looked like a completely different person. So sad when that happened.

That's cool! I've watched nearly every game since I was a little girl. You should get back into it! We're such a talented incredible team right now. I mean, we've always been since the cups in 97/98/02...but this year I think we can do it! We're so far ahead of everyone at this point.
I actually met Vladdy in the elevator a few years ago on our way up to the main Joe Louis Arena floor. My uncle walks with a cane so we didn't take all those stairs up at the front of the building. I didn't even notice him at first until he bumped into me and put his hand on my shoulder and said "oh, I'm sorry." in a Russian accent. I turned around and was like "Vladdy! Oh my gosh! HI!" hahaha. He was sweet and kind and smiled and seemed to be doing fine. He was walking, which was a good sign. I also got a chance to meet a BUNCH of players (Draper, Hasek, Chelios, Maltby, Fischer...just to name a few) at Cheli's Chili bar in Dearborn when it opened. That was really fun! :( No Stevie though...*sigh* ...one day it'll happen! haha.
