It's a song by Taiska called Haltin häät, and tells a legend of how two mountains and a lake were formed in Finnish Lapland. Boy called Halti wanted to marry girl called Malla, but on their wedding day a Swede, who also wanted Malla, called wizards who sent ice and northen winds upon the wedding. Halti and Malla ran for cover, but the ice caught up with them and turned them into mountains (seen at the end of the video) and Malla's tears formed the lake Kilpisjärvi.
Anyway, my 12 years old daughter came home today singing the song – they sang it at the music lesson. Funny how songs that were top ten hits 30 years ago are now just basic lesson material. I wonder if kids will be singing WDIAROM at schools in 20 years' time?

I hope so! That would be sweet! Grinner had a picture of Fran in her economics book and she drew a heart next to it, hahaha! If I were a teacher I would for sure throw Travis songs into my lesson plan somehow. :)
