I'm thinking about buying a real capo, because the stubby pencil and rubber band contraption I've been using is not as effective as I'd like it to be. I've seen two types, the strap on kind and the clamp kind. The clamp seems like it would be easier. Which kind do I want? |

I have the strap on kind and my boyfriend has a clamp...I like the clamp better. It's easier to move up and down the neck. |

Okay, then clamp it shall be. Anything has to be better than a pencil and a rubber band, aye? |

Not to labour the point, but definitely the clamp, as per moz's pic. The strappy one doesn't tune very well. |
