| Well at least I'm happy... I just came back from a visit to my GP. He told me to lose weight about 3 months ago, and I've lost 9,1kg... that's almost 1 and a half stone :oD |

My motivation wasn't a disease as such, more like too high blood pressure. It's still a bit high, but the doctor reckons I've got white coat hypertension, which means that my blood pressure gets high just thinking about the doctor taking my pressure. But he's gonna take a blood sample next week, and if all other values are ok, then he won't do anything more about it. He reckons I should lose about another stone though, but that shouldn't be a problem - I hope! |

| Yes the idea of getting you blood pressure taken always amuses me. How are you supposed to be calm when getting that done in a doctors surgery .LOL |

| My thought exactly... he kept telling me to think about a being in a hammock on a nice sunny beach somewhere in the carribean, but that's not all that easy when you can feel the cuff tightening around your arm... |

Yes I did, and I too have been stuffing my face over Christmas. I also took some long walks though so I think that saved me from gaining weight lol

yep, Xmas was great with Freya at home and New Year was loud and merry with the whole clan in Shrewsbury lol
quite glad to be back home... not so glad to be back at work ! och well

| Yes, I've been back since Wednesday. I even worked last Friday as well... I'm quite happy to be back, actually. I was getting lazy just doing nothing and sleeping too much lol |

Good for you Hanne! I lost 70 lbs (31.82 kilos or 5 stones) in 7 months a few years back and it felt so great to accomplish that.
And I've kept it off. Well, OK I've gained a little but that is mainly from all the celebrating. It'll go away soon.
I didn't have any health issues but I knew they would come.
