3 days and over 80 bands, I hope the weather will be better.
Travis will be playing at 8.55 pm on Friday.It's been such a long time since they've been over here.
Is anyone else going?

I will be there! Won four tickets from a radio station yesterday!!! I just can't believe it!!! I'm counting down the minutes! Maybe we'll meet - somewhere in front of the AlternaStage?!

Friends of mine are going, but, sadly, they have never heard of "calling someone from a concert to let him/her have a listen to the band..."

As far as i know there's only a "Rock am Ring" livestream (Travis will play there on Sunday) I guess there will be some live coverage by the different local radio stations - check out www.rock-im-park.de for details. But i fear they'll concentrate on the "headliners"...

there are TWO festivals with exactly the same lineup (bands playing on different days of course) this weekend:
Travis played at Rock im Park (in Nuremberg) yesterday. There was no livestream for that
And tomorrow they'll be at Rock am Ring. |

hey all,
I'm back from the festival "Rock im Park". A bit confusing, I know, but "Rock im Park" and "Rock am Ring" are two different festivals taking place at the same time.
Travis were absolutely fantastic!!!
15000 people were watching them live. I'm not quite sure about the setlisting (and its order) but as far as I can remember:

Turn (Dougie's singing was grand!!)

What a brilliant show! We were in the third row, having a fantastic time singing along, jumping and clapping!!!
What a pity we didn't meet! There were cameras all the time, do you have any idea where one can watch the show or if it'll be put on a festival DVD??? It would be quite cool to see it again!!! Ooohh i want to be there again! |

We were in the front-row and we also well, not really shook, but touched Fran's hand.
I also noticed the cameras (local TV Nürnberg) but I don't know if there will be an DVD about RIP. The Travis gig hasn't been broadcasted on MTV as far as I know...
Ahh..being there again would be ahhhh wicked!!!
