BRILLIANT, a fellow NC fan! Don't think I've ever met another one before. So, hello there. =)
It'd would be amazing if they played at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro again(I think the last time they played there was back in '97.. with Ben Folds Five, too! What a mind-blowing combination that must've been)
Anyway, I'm sure they'll be back sometime early-ish next year. Fran keeps telling everyone that they'll be back "really soon", so...
Great to meet another NC Travis fan too. And one who knows Cat's Cradle. I graduated from UNC in the late 80s, so quite familiar with it. Though in those days it was big for REM to come around. Anyway, wish Travis would make it to the South again. They're amazing. Also wish they got more air time in US markets. At any rate, nice to meet a fellow Travis fan from the South! And I do hope Fran and guys come here. They're a breath of fresh air amidst a lot of crap that's out there! See ya!!!
i live in hotlanta so would LOVE for them to tour the South.....alas, til then we gotta go to them.
emerson hart is playing in charlotte sometime soon. if you haven't checked him out, you should. former lead singer of tonic, fab songwriter. ah, if i weren't out on the west coast chasing travis, i'd totally be in CLT.
