| Woah, had to share this! Today I was chatting to my boss, a fifty-something-year-old-woman and discovered that she liked Travis! She got the free CD that came with The Daily Mail the other week and says she's been listening to it alot in her car. "They always sound miserable but they're really good!" were her exact words!!! The woman has gone up in my estimations. Anyone else have bosses who appreciate Travis?(even if they do think they're "miserable"? Haha!!) |

| Well, it's not my boss but one of my students. I was teaching a phonetics lesson and I had one of my Travis t-shirts on. At the end of the lesson, she came to me and asked shyly if I'd ever seen the band. She said she loved them and she'd love to see them next time they play in France. I had to refrain from telling her about the latest shows I went to as I had to postpone a couple of lessons (I obviously didn't tell my boss I was going to a gig!!) or else I would have been in trouble! But that was nice to know that I wasn't the only Travis fan in Lyon! I hope the fact that she's a Travis fan too won't cloud my judgement when I mark her exam papers!! hehe |

| not my boss either...but my mom is a fan!! i tell her "that's fine, you like them...but you justt remember who LOVES them missy!!" haha...she'll be attending her second travis show in november! haha... |

I just showed to my grandma the live at the palace dvd and she likes them!
I mean... Not so much, but some songs...
She's 82 and she told me that it seems like sometimes they're screaming... But she loves Fran's eyes...
And she doesn't understand a single word of english so I had to translate everything and she says that the words are amazing.
