I'm resposobile for a bit ofit in here, no interviews or stuff, yet... but I do sort through the applications, my advice would be...

Keep it short and sweet, (for a while we were told a page was a good idea, personally I'd go with two) I hate having to leaf through a huge CV to see whether someone has experience or not, once you are qualified you'll get an interview, then that's time to expand on your CV. If you keep it plain and simple the information needed can be easily read.

If I may just add something; when I was looking for work, I kept my letter of application to one page, and my CV to one page. I then adjusted the information according to the job I wanted, prioritising what I'd need for that particular job.
