“Thespicegirls.com can exclusively reveal that the girls’ new single, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends), will be played simultaneously by radio stations across the UK tomorrow at 7.40am.
Be sure to tune in for the exciting world premiere of the fantastic new song, which was written by Matt Rowe, Richard ‘Biff’ Stannard and the girls themselves. As we reported earlier today, the Spice Girls made the video for the new single on Friday at Pinewood Studios.
Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) will be available digitally in the UK from 5 November, and physically on 19 November. The song is taken from the new Spice Girls Greatest Hits album.” |

| Wouldn't a greatest hits album imply that they had more than one hit? Perhaps my memory is failing me. |

I was wondering the same thing- how they could fill a whole album. |

Plenty of Greatest Hits Albums have filler. How many bands really have 10 - 12 actual chart topping 'hits'? I distinctly remember that they had more than one I don't remember what they were though... Or are we just blindly hatin' on the Spice girls? Because I can do that too. :D
PS: I'm not defending the Spice Girls, nor am I implying that they are a band. :P

Totally agree on your disclaimer there. And yeah, they had several hits but I can't really think of that many. |

Lol...well, whether they had good songs or not is a matter of opinion, but according to wikipedia all 10 of their releases reached either number 1 or 2 in the UK chart. So I think we can safely say they had hits. =p
Still, as some people have said, 12 (13 if we count the new 'un) songs isn't going to make a particularly big hits album. :s |

Okay, so I looked at the list and there are actually three songs that I recognize. Who woulda thunk it?
I suppose we weren't as spicy here in the bland ol' USA. |

I'm sorry, but the Spice Girls were pretty bloody big!!
And I can name quite a few choons. Probably just a case of where you were at the time?
And I was in London being about 8, so I knew them a bit too well haha. |
