I don't think I had any problems. Not that I have it on my harddisk anymore, since said harddisk was in the laptop that was stolen grrrr

Aw thankyou!! That's what happens when I get a few drinks in me... Poor fellas. But I might've told the man in that picture that Fran Healy thinks he's a c*nt... Whooooops haha. Serves him right for standing me up ages ago innit.
Hows you? x |

It was not unrippable. It did however contain a very lame and easily beatable protection called Key2AudioXS which the product manager of Sony tried denying in email correspondence.
To copy? Just use something like Exactaudiocopy.de and copy the first session, the 2nd session are full of 64kbs wma files that sound like shit.
If any of you need instructions let me know. |

Grand thanks Grinner, and you?
It was unrippable without downloading ridiculously specialist software. |

Ridiculously specialist software? Just about any decent CD ripping software would do it (albeit not something like Itunes which I suspect most people tried to use). Though I concede that isn't the point.
I remember first listening to the album on my computer then thinking the sound quality was awful (using headphones). So I figured it was protected and used EAC to rip the first session. Then converted to MP3.
This was just the first shot in Sony's stupid customer losing obsession with copy protection. To be honest if it wasn't a Travis CD I would have ripped it and then returned the thing to the store. |
