Hi there,
In a couple of months I'm going to marry my amazing girlfriend, Rita. She and I are Travis fans for many years, and for both of us it's our second (and final ;-)) wedding.
I recently saw the remake of the Beatles' Lovely Rita and I want to play it in our wedding as a surprise to my love one.
I thought that a nice touch would be if I could get someone from the band (Fran?) to record a few words that I could play before the song (audio or video). Does anyone know how I can make this happen?
Any help would be appreciated, this would totally surprise her ;-)
Thanks a lot...

Congratulations :)
All i can come up with is that you could try and send Fran/the band a message through MySpace. |

Congratulations, I wish you all the best :)
That's such a sweet idea, and I bet the boys would like to help! I hope you can contact them.
You could try the snail-mail approach, to the address in this thread.
Alternatively see if you can catch Fran's eye, he seems to be on quite regularly at the moment :) His profile shows you when he's around. I suspect you can't PM him though :( |

Good ideas, I tried MySpace for the band and Fran, hopefully something will catch their eyes...
If this doesn't work, perhaps I'll send a letter to this address. seems a little far fetched though but worth a shot...
thanks for your help so far. |

I think the letter option is probably the safest, since Fran himself said it was ok. Good luck :) |
