For those of you who don't know...(and I'm sure most of you do because it's all I talk about) :P ...I met Fran and Dougie at a Detroit radio station's in-studio acoustic session before their show here in July, and ever since then, I've been trying desperately to get the three songs they performed up on the station's audio/video room with the other live sessions. Well, after months of thinking something went wrong with the recording, I FINALLY got a reply and it looks like there's still hope the songs can be saved! I just got this e-mail:
"According to the recording engineer at Midwest Studios, the first song did indeed get scrapped because the singer had his jacket on, and apparently the button on his sleeve was scraping against his guitar the whole time he was playing. He said that it was very loud on the recording. After that he took off his jacket, and as far as I know the other two songs are fine."
They BETTER put the songs up. I've been checking their damn site like every freakin' day. Once they do, I'll be sure to post it... :)
