Why Does It Always Payne On Me Posted Sat 08 Sep, 2007 12:24 AM |
Hee, I posted that! *looks all proud*
It's one of those live performances I've seen that made me like the song! I wasn't too into "The Fear" until I got the Ally Pally DVD. |

Oh really? Cool! :D
Yes. I love both live DVDs. They're amazing.
I've always loved "The Fear," but they really rock it out live. The only thing I like better about the CD version is how Fran kind of puts you in a trance with his "make it easy for a little bit looongeeer, make it easy for a little bit looongeeer...." at the end. They should add that to the end of the harder live version. Then it would be perfection! |

Ever since I heard The Blue Flashing Light, I've wanted to hear it live. And then I saw it on More Than Us. And then I heard the story about how it was recorded. Oh god, I hope they start playing it again... |

That's amazing. I never thought "The fear" could be so rocker. And Neil's performance is just excellent. |

Wow! Intense, raw emotion. Love it.
The first time we saw them play they played Blue Flashing Light. I remember I was in the line to go to the bathroom and when I heard them start it I got out and waddled* back to my husband.
*waddled because it was 2 1/2 weeks before I had my son. I sacrificed my bladder to see them do it.
Now it seems they don't do it much anymore so I'm glad I made the sacrifice. |

I absolutely promise you I did not piss on myself. I think that might have ruined Travis for me if I had to deal with that memory!
Yeah I was super duper ridiculous pregnant. And he was 9.2 pounds when we was born so at the show he was probably about 8 pounds.
Good times. |

Ooooh! Blue Flashing Light is another one I'd love to see live!
Anne, you were brave for going to a concert that pregnant! |

It was more knowing it would be a long time before I would get the chance again. We stayed in the back. Second concert, pregnant again, had to be in the back.
That was partly why I was so thrilled this time- no baby so I could be up front. And I am just thrilled every day that I am not pregnant. |
