My rugby league team lost their long battle against relegation today. After losing on friday night away to Wigan we depended on Hull KR to lose today in order to help us have a ray of hope with the slim chance of winning the last two games to stay up. So the miracle never occured and we are down to National League One, minus lots of players and having to start all over again. Now we have to wait and see what players stay and who we can afford as players that stay get a large pay cut!
Gutted is not the word! |

That's sh!t news babe, I really had my fingers crossed they'd manage it, mind you Salford are a huge club and should bounce straight back up, hopefully.

Cheers Dubz. It's been a terrible season and none of the players wanted it enough, they let us down. I'm more gutted about losing players as apposed to playing in the lower divisions (at least you win when you go down!) I'm looking forward to going to "the back of beyond" stadiums mainly up in Yorkshire and it is a chance for our team to get re-built and eventually become stronger again.

Sorry to read about this, although on the flip side, it's good to see a Man United fan suffer, for the sole reason that you should appreciate United's success more.
Like that quote from Vanilla Sky, without the bitter, the sweet isn't as sweet.
Fuck, as a Wednesday fan I can tell you ALL about suffering. |

Salford have never been a high-flying team so i'm used to them not performing and dealing with relegation. I don't see why football comes into that just cos i'm a united fan though! I actually prefer watching rugby league slightly more than football. |

We don't get Rugby League down here, strickly Union, how does it compare to going to football in terms of prices? |

Not bad prices, Salford is obviously cheaper because they aren't a huge side so prices do differ from club to club like football. It's about £15 for an adult per match for teams at the bottom end of the table, for all teams its not above £20. Even cheaper for me next season! |

Shit, that's really good, cheaper than my local Union team, Worcester Warriors anyway. |
