| what inspires the guys to write songs they why they do from the rock sounds to the more mellow music of recent? |

Experiences, emotions, time of life, outlook on life.
All of these things build songs, you just add words.

| yeah but the way they write songs now seems to me what they wanted to be like from their first album comparing more than us, 20, to one of the more modern songs (just my own opinion). whats next for them how mellow can they get its not critisim how long do you think they as a band see themselves going on for? |
