The countdown of the greatest Modern Rock songs of all time on woxy.com starts tomorrow (The Modern Rock 500) and I'm excited. It's always a fun list. I'm not going to hang out by the computer all weekend, but I hope to catch the top ten at least.
Anyway, I just thought I'd post about it, if anybody wants to check it out, and also because if I didn't start a woxy thread on the new board then I just wouldn't be me would I?
give it a go you know you want to

I believe it's a five or six hour time difference. But you've probably figured that out by now. Hehehe. Love & Rockets yaya! I'm sad I missed In a Big Country, one of my favorite "80's" songs. |

Yeah figured it out eventually, haha, yeah there has already been some gems,
Have it blaring away while playing Football Manager on the playstation, a nice cold one and keeping an eye on the board and the football score. I'll order pizza soon.
Life doesn't get much better than this... |

I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and listen!
They're doing something similar on KROQ in Southern California, it's the 106.7 best KROQ bands...but I have to say I like the Modern Rock 500 better...not only because, it's WOXY and I like the music better, but the format is better. I like going through the list of 500 all weekend rather than a weekend of repeating the same 100 artists with multiple songs in a row by the same artists 4 days in a row.
I mean it's all good when it's the Cure and everything, but when it's system of a down I want to jump off a bridge. Anyways,
Middle of the Road by the Pretenders is on now! Yaya! |
