That was such a great show. I was right in front of Andy.
They brought out a cake and we got to sing Happy Birthday to Fran 2 or 3 times. |

It was amazing. I had high expectations of the concert, and the band came in so above in beyond what I had expected. The concert was fantastic, they played all of my favorites. The venue was small, but it was fine, because it was more intimate. My only regret was not knowing it was Fran's birthday, because then I would have gotten him a hallmark card or something (Why Hallmark? Because it's a company based in Kansas City where I'm from.) Before the band did 'Flowers in the Window,' They came out with a birthday cake and we sang and he blew out the candles, then they through candy at us. (Fran: We have sweets for you guys... oh wait, I mean candy). I got hit by a tootsie roll by Dougie. During 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' they started spraying each other with silly string. The best part was when we were waiting outside to get their autographs or pictures, and Fran and Dougie came out and said, "Hey everyone, follow us!" We all followed them downstairs to the basement of the venue. They had refreshments and birthday cake. I talked to Dougie, and Fran and had my picture taken with both
Unforgettable |

I almost forgot, I told Dougie that his wife was an amazing actress. He said that she just started displaying her Emmy at home, because before she kind of hid it away. He told us to go see her new movie that's directed by the Coen Brothers, and that she was in NY shooting another movie. In the basement everyone just mingled and talked and drank.
Amazing
It was so funny driving home because that song Party Like a Rock Star came on the radio, and me and my friend went crazy, in one point of the song, we replaced the lyrics with WE JUST TOTALLY DID! |

They invited everyone who was hanging around the tour bus, so about 20 fans. It was funny we saw someone getting more ber off of the tour bus, and my friend goes, "Maybe they won't be coming out anytime soon..." but they were getting more beer for the party. I will never forget that night. Ever |

Awww, that's so sweet. What other band would do something like that? Travis really are a special band.
The show sounds like it was lots of fun too. The birthday decorations look great. |
