Just wanted to say I've been a fan since The Man Who (I was never that electronically inclined, and that's why I never joined these messageboards, but i figured it was about time) At the age of 19, you songs spoke to me and i realized that even if the specifics/details are different, everyone pretty much experiences the same things. we all have the same worries, fears asnd feelings of happiness. Your music has got me through some tough times as well as the times when I just needed to blast some friggin' fantastic songs and just rock out! I first saw you at the Spectrum in Montreal (where I'm from0 and then 2 years later at Metropolis in Montreal again. Because you guys didn't make it here for the last tour and saw that there was no date again this time around, I knew i had to take a couple days off work and make the 6 hour trip to Toronto to see you. I've always thought you guys were amazing live but after Thursday, I think they can close the book on this one: Travis is the best band in the world (and not just in my eyes). At 27 years old, I had more fun than I ever had when i was younger. I guess as we get older we see more and more how shitty life can get and so, when you have chance to have fun and really get into something that makes you happy, it's worth so much more.
So, sorry for the really long message but basically I just wanted to say Thank-you. Thank you from a quiet, Canadian girl who you have helped in more ways than you'll ever know.
The show as awesome! I'm still recovering.
