Is there anything that people use to eat in your country that you know the rest of the world would throw up just at the sight of it?
In Italy people eat horse meat, but I don't think there is a foreign person who would do it.
By the way good morning everyone! |

The French eat horse too - I found it a bit hard and chewy (not really my cup of tea) Still can't get to grips with their Snail obsesssion although I like the frogs legs.
I've had Haggis too and quite enjoyed that ;-)

I would imagine what seems strange and unusual to us is probably quite normal in certain cultures, Kangaroo, Bat, Monkey, Grasshopper, Witchity(?) Grubs. etc.
also vice versa, Tongue, Tripe, Liver, Haggis, Kidney, Black Pudding ?? |

Les escargots (snails) is a MUST at home for Xmas.
Xmas isn't a genuine Xmas without them (and Santa)

So are my grand parents but they're far from being obsessed! My grandma usually prepares them for New Year's day. |
