I feel it is my duty as a Star Wars fan to force you all the celebrate its 30th anniversary. So....celebrate it. NOW!

You can start by watching this delightful clip and wishing you were at the expedition too. You can then visit the official site to brush up your [already extensive] knowledge about the films (yes even The Phantom Menace), and finish off by choosing a lovely star wars desktop.

What? What ya waiting for - get to it!

thanks Luke :-)

i remember my Da brought me to see the original movie when it first came out, amazing stuff for a 10 year old. amazing stuff today to be honest, the first 3 movies will always be the best - the prequels (from what i've seen) were just a wall-to-wall CGI wankfest, s'like like there's a small piece of animated skyline that's empty in the background behind Yoda, stick a passing spacecraft there. bleck.

Ah. You're one of those people who have no imagination. I see.
Fine. Live in your boring world with "human beings" and "cars". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v433/Jearoon/Smilies/4-Wink.gif

First three, or is it the second three films are absolutely great. The newer/older (seriously what was wrong with doing a normal chronological film series?!) ones are entertaining enough but wouldn't rush back and see em again.

But who can forget the attack on the Death Star or that big snowy fight with them robot dinosaur thing ;)

i like 'em! the jane austen adaptations, the bridget jones movies, the hugh grant romantic comedy ones, they've got their place. the one thing i HATE though is "Chick Lit" that stuff is just keeeey-WRAAAP, i don't read it i just see these idiots on the train reading it and it's brain meltingly depressing to see women regressing with that shite.

To right, lol. Actually the anniversary thing is being celebrated all year, not particularly today. 'Cos the first movie didn't actually come out until December. :p
