And been to one of those awesome people that show you and PROVE that you are literally on the complete centre of the equator by showing you a vortex, say in water, ie, spinning one way, then spinning the other when he crosses back??!?

Nope. The lowest level i've hit was near the Dead Sea in Israel.

hmmm ok - have you heard of the above? the way water spins in the opposite direction below the equator line?

No...but damned amusing:D

People are right when they say that the vortex is polarised at extreme and certain points over the equator, but the man who does the demonstration in africa, or asia, or south america is a con artist basically :D

Cariolis effect indeed!!!!!!! People couldn't get that more wrong...
