Hi
I was lucky enough to win tickets to see Fran & Andy last night in Cornwall, by entering the draw on this very site.

The venue wasn't announced until yesterday but as it turned out was just ten minutes away from my house!

They were just amazing, first time I have seen Travis (or half of Travis!) live and I was about 3ft away from Fran - my husband wanted to stand at the back, but I wouldn't let him... he has dug out all the Travis CDs today so I think he enjoyed it.

They definitely still have it - I am so envious of everyone with tickets to forthcoming shows, I can't get the time off work to go to any near us (the nearest would be Bristol, and is still a 3 hour drive away on a night I am due to work).

I never got to see Travis despite the fact they played the Plymouth Pavilions, our nearest 'venue' (an hour and a half away & in the next county!) as the kids were all too little, we could never get babysitters but now they are old enough to look after themselves - hooray!

The last few years have been spent making up for lost time and going to as many gigs as possible.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello :)

Hi, welcome to the messageboard. I'm also from Cornwall and I wanted tickets for this so badly! I listened to enough Pirate FM to sink a battleship, but to no avail. I'm glad someone else who really wanted to go got the website tickets though - and that you had a great time! :)

I've also really wanted to go to a gig at the Eden Project for a while, so I'm doubly jealous! How was it? I hear there was an outside version of Indefinitely with shooting stars in the background?! Sounds pretty special! Did they play any other lesser-known album tracks?

At the moment, all new members show up under that username. No idea why!
