So I guess along the lines with "targets for 2012" I figured I really need to do "something" this year that pushes me, goes past my fears, something spontaneous (kinda) something mad and fun. I don't want this year to pass me by (not that it will, I am so darn busy). So this is were you guys come in...help me. Most of my friends have suggested a skydive....I have an incredible fear of heights so that would be definitely pushing the fear barrier. Any other cool ideas?
I do want to learn guitar....so I can play Bass eventually. I have one in work I can play and practice on, see how that goes.
I am already doing the mature student/learning thing. By the end of this year I will be certified and recognised Librarian - woot woot. So that's that.
I am planning a Missions trip for next year (part of church and the joys of me being Mission secretary) so that part of extreme travel is out....maybe a nice break/holiday to somewhere obscure? Hmmm idea. Certainly a goal to look forward to. But not very WOW.
Random is good!
Ok go! :) |

Rock climbing
Might be a good way to combat the fear of heights.

Yikes, rock, ropes and I do not go well together. I fell down a cliff once...thus the fear. Nope, crazily I'd rather jump out of a plane. :-/ lol |

Bungee Jump - again ultimate fear factor haha but yeah thanks Megg!
Scuba - I don't really know of anything like this near to me here. hmm
Surf - I totally would love to learn this....but my nearest Surf school is like 60 miles away on the freezing North Coast where the sea is NEVER warm. :)
I wish I was in LA - Or insert nice Cali beach area - then I could totally surf :) |
