Sometimes I find myself longing for more and more and more music by the boys, to the point where I've literally exhausted the released works.
Because of this , I think we need a thread for bands similar in style to Travis so we can tide ourselves over until the new album is released. Alternate languages are fine too!
I'll start:
--Keane
--Coldplay
--The Verve (more Britpop in general)
--Oasis (more early Travis)
Now, I know some of those might be obvious, but you never know who might be hiding under their rock! |

Radiohead.... I discovered Sparklehorse a couple of months ago and the music is really great! its like "soft rock" but amazing! unfortunately Mark Linkous = Sparklehorse took his own life in 2009. you should listen a couple of songs if you have not heard any song.. |

All of them sound awesome. I've found a few others that I think might work through Pandora, but I haven't listened to enough to know yet. |

Another similar band is Pilate Speed (formally Pilate) (pronounced "pilot")
I haven't dove into them as much as i should have yet, but they are pretty good. |
