...but one that must be done when a stranger returns to these here parts. Hello everyone! Who's still here that i know of? (with the exception of Kristy who emailed me to get me back here ;-))
I see the board is still as slow as ever. Ah nostalgia! |

Hello hello.
I'm doing fine thanks. The library is still standing although it can be rather stressful and boring at times so another job would be nice but there's nothing out there! At least i'll be kept busy with the Summer Reading Challenge that's coming up and there's always time to do uni work whilst i'm "working" ha.
What've you been up to Sunny? Really long time no speak! |

Cheryl! Hello. A week off work sounds good, but they tend to fly by so fast. Hope you're enjoying the break.

Nothing much, arguing with my employers and then resigning cos they were so unreasonable mainly.
I remember being bored at my library job too :-/

little hitler was a saint compared to the ex-boss. Doing nothing now, see reply to Cheryl.
Do the older women hog the computers and front desk?

I'm sorry to here that :-(
Nah it's not like that, i suppose i'm lucky really! I'm in a building that's not just a library, it's a mixture of NHS surgeries/benefits/Computer courses etc and the libraries built into it. It kinda takes the library feel away from things unfortunately but it's not like it's a stuffy old fashioned place.
What else you been up to? I still look at plug sockets with the on switch left on and think of you ha ha. |

There's one of them near me. They do careers and art and information about housing all in one. Not sure I like it. I still prefer the old crusty places that smell like a library!
Been pretty much housebound for a year, so not much.
I cannot for the life of me remember what the plug socket thing is all about.

Yeah i miss working in a normal place but hey-ho this is where i'm stuck now!
I'm sure you had a "fear" of pictures of plug sockets with the red on switch showing and it used to bug you? Or have i dreamt this?! |
