I'm happy to announce we're having an International Boardie Convention. It will take place in Paris, from September 5th to the 8th. You're all invited and most welcome to join us!

Three boardies have confirmed their presence so far: that cool Polish chick Megg, the lovely Wendy from Northern Ireland and yours truly from Argentina. :oP

I'm extremely excited and need to start practicing my English (speaking and listening) if I want to do more than just stand there and smile, lol.

Edit: Ale will be there too! I forgot to mention her (she's going to kill me, hehe).

I started planning already (I need to focus on something else than the 3 best friends I've met in Denmark leaving forever in 11 hours) and there is no way I will see everything I want to in just 3 days! Somehow we managed to do it 10 years ago in the same amount of time. Hmmm.

Thanks! You should all come, too.
And sorry Kristy but I refuse to have a record of my horrible English accent. It's a very weird accent.

Megg, that sounds awful. Seeing your friends leave is horrible, but I'm very sure it's not going to be forever! *Hugs*

I'll spend four days and a half in Paris. I still don't know what I'm going to do there (or in any of the other 12 or so cities I'm visiting, for that matter). But I'm open to pretty much everything, as it all sounds fun and exciting and new. :oP

I forgot to mention that last night I dreamed I visited Wendy (this probably has to do with the "how did you meet me" question in her FB). I went by sea, in some weird "boat" that was like a groceries box with pedals. It was dark when I arrived in Northern Ireland (but hey, I managed to cross the Atlantic!), and there was a woman in the dock who said I had to pay her 15 dollars for the trip and a hair cut (it was a special offer). I said I didn't have any change, so I had to call Wendy, because she had my bag with my money (it was literally a bag, a red one). So I called Wendy and she was a little bit upset because she was working and I was disturbing her, so the woman offered to go and get my bag. I said I'd go with her. She handed my bag to me and I noticed that there were 15000 dollars missing (yeah, as if I would ever have that kind of money, lol). Turns out that Valentino (as in the Italian designer) was there -I think he was in charge of the hair cut part of the deal (?!)- and he had stolen my money! What a bastard. Wendy appeared all of the sudden and we both asked Valentino to give me my money back, but he didn't want to. I don't remember how we sorted that out, but then it was late and I had to go to Liverpool to meet with my friends, and I had no money and no place to stay. Wendy said her aunt had a house in France, so I could go there to spend the night and then take one of those boxes with pedals to Liverpool in the morning (it was a very sensible plan, don't you think?). So Wendy and I went to France by bike (!) and spent the night in her aunt's lovely mansion (had a huge garden and a pool and everything). We said goodbye the next morning when I was about to start pedaling sitting in my groceries box on the water.

ROFLMAO @ that dream!!! My sister is a hairdresser - maybe she was the woman demanding payment. Oh and how I wish I had an aunt who has a mansion in France! Groceries box!!!! LOL Hilarious Juli!

I am mega excited about meeting evryone. Please promise not to stab me or gag me. I warn you now in advance - I get a little excitable soooooo yeah, I will try and tone it down so not to scare you. Im like an over excited puppy when I meet people :p

3 days in Paris!!! Woot woot - I am going to start researching the place. Also I may need to learn a little French with Michel Thomas so that I can at least translate the menus. I couldn't cope with accidently eating horse meat or frog! :-/ (hee hee)

I have decided I want to take lots of cliched photos of me with garlic, bagettes, wearing stripes and or a beret!

We all must have similar senses of humor, this was my favorite part, too.

I know you all will have a wonderful time!

I extra loved it because as I was reading the Valentino part I was thinking "grr, that Valentino!" and then I got to the end and it made me actually LOL
