I've had a test today, I stayed up late to study last night, then I overslept this morning.
and I was late for the test, REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY late.
I am a total idiotic senseless loser.
Please share your worst oversleeping experience, I'm feeling very bad about this morning. |

I was late for a final exam in math. I had set my clock radio to the right time, but the volume was turned down so low that it didn't wake me up. I just had to throw on whatever clothes were on the floor and went just like that. I arrived late. It was embarrassing. Luckily, I had enough time to finish the test, but it was close! |

Missed an aeroplane yonks ago. Stupid me went on a drink binge, last night in Dublin before heading back here. Needless to say I was traumatised and always at airports in plenty of time since. |

I did the same thing on one of my finals. Luckily, the professor was really cool and let me take it, even though a few people had already finished with theirs. I almost had a heart attack when I woke up though!

My oversleeping story is pretty sad but I'll follow up with a funny one (skip this paragraph if you don't want the sad). I overslept and missed the funeral of someone very dear to me. I was 16 and I was very freaked out and I think subconsciously I did it because I couldn't handle it. : (
The funny oversleeping thing is that many times I was certain I had set my alarm and would wake up after the set time in a panic and certain I didn't hear it. I would look and the alarm would be in the off setting. Crazy as it sounds I started to suspect my cats were messing with my clock. I finally caught one of them playing with the buttons. Glad they are the crazy ones and not me. |

I overslept when I had jury duty. I was 30 minutes late but thankfully I didn't really miss anything. I was freakin' out the whole way there though. |
