I do too think this is a great cover (!!) however I disagree on your theory that covers only stand apart when the performers add something new to it. "Lovely Rita" is one of the best covers I heard so far, and it's not that it has something new in it, but rather that is so damn accurate and still Travis-like. With a lot better recording system ;)... |
