In the love song wastelands, there is little sign of life. There are many overwrought, mangled clichés littering the paths; strange, rushed depictions of emotions which mean nothing. But look closer and you will find the occasional jewel; a vibrant, alive song which shimmers with sincerity and tenderness. I want to know what your favourite love songs are; the ones which shrug off the badly-fitting clichés and step into their own beautiful skin. Some ideas from me:
She Fuckin' Hates Me - Puddle of Mudd
Brassneck - Wedding Present
Bitch iz a Bitch - NWA
Loveless - My Bloody Valentine
