Ok so some of you may be aware of my never ending hunt for the perfect upgrade/new mobile. I am due an upgrade this year (I think I can actually upgrade with Orange on 08/04/10 - that's April to you Americans). Sooooo hunt hunt hunt....Here's the story:

Alot of my friends have gone and got iPhones and swear by them...apart from the occassionaly niggle like lack of fast typing/multiple messaging etc. Others say BB is the way to go. I do not want to be swayed by what is concidered "cool" or "in" nor do I want to pay extortionate money or get tied into a 24mnth contract only to find the phone buggs the heck outta me.

What I want from the phone of my dreams:

1/ Look sexy stylish - chrome/metal/lots of black/less of the plastic.
2/ Have good signal and communications - (my friends iphones always cut out on me).
3/ Ease of use - user friendly that I can display the screen the way I want it.
4/ Have access to FB/Twitter/internet - (also having Flash would be an advantage)
5/ Camera would be nice but not essential
6/ Touchscreen I am fine with but the "clicky" thing that the HTC has going on seems good - again case of getting used to....the Palm Pre is nice as it has seperate keyboard section but tiny ?!?!

I don't care about music as I have my ipod for that.
I do want to be able to browse photos in a good capacity.

So far these are my options (I just need to find where sells the EXACT copy I want)

Any suggestions out there?

I really am leaning more towards the HTC phones.

I used someone's itouch on the weekend, and while not a phone and thus not helpful at all to your question, touchpads are effing difficult if you have nails!

But yes, you figure out the answer and let me know. I'll need a phone and company when I move to UKland.

Is it still Edinburgh you are thinking of moving to?

I think London is leading at the moment. Have people we can stay with for cheap/free until we figure out jobs, flat, etc. I suspect there will be a move to Edinburgh at some point though. It's a 2 year visa, I dont think we'd be in the same place the whole time.
