Where do you guys stand on international call ups?
Would you have been in support of -
a player getting a call up because they have played in Scotland for seven years withouut representing their "home country" (Novo)?. How about Andy Carroll of Newcastle, should he qualify to pull on the blue of Scotland as he has a Scottish grandmother?. Then there was the almost case of Andrew Driver, if you're schooled in Scotland for 5years is that enough?

I would be seriously hypocritical if I said yes, It already annoys me no end that little shite McGreedy decided he wanted to play for Ireland rather than the country that has brought him up and nurtured his footballing talent, He's just a nasty bigotted little fucking tim. (btw I'd swap ten of him for one Maloney) And that other little shit James McCarthy that was with Hamilton last season is just as bad. So for me I would feel two-faced if I was to advocate any of the above, management is a different case but...
If I am ever lucky enough to have kids over here to an Irish wife, my kids will be Irish, they will be taught to respect their father's Scots roots but they would most likely be born to an Irish mother on Irish soil and be brought up in Ireland that to me would make them Irish. I would be mega proud if they wanted to represent Scotland but I would strongly suggest they represent Ireland first.

You mean the Spanish player? I don't think he will ever play for Spain... Something similar happens to Almunia (Arsenal). There are a lot of great Spanish goalkeepers and he will never have a chance. |

Yep that's him, i don't think he's good enough for Scotland never mind Spain. There was talk about Almunia playing for England at the world cup |
