    | I don't think the place where you meet someone matters that much. We live in times when it's pretty common that people meet online. Personally I know 3 happily married/engaged couples who met that way. Not boardies, but still. |

 I agree. I don't think it's seen as a weird way to meet anymore. I've made plenty of friends here that I met IRL that are amazing people! Everyone is online. If you make a connection with someone once you meet, that's all that matters. So, to answer the question, I would totally date a boardie...if I was single and if we lived in the same state! The whole distance thing is a killer.
