I was walking through Central Park today in NYC and I was listening to music when I saw a tall gentleman with his family walking down the street. I said to myself "Thats Doug from Travis." I approached him and his family and talked for a few minutes. He is a great man and has a terrific family. As I was leaving his company, I turned around and shouted "Thanks for the music!!" He smiled and said "No problem mate." Thanks Doug and Cheers!!

Yeah of course its real. It was during my lunch break yesterday at work. I crossed the street to get to Central Park a different way than normal. When I crossed I knew exactly who it was! I said......dammit....I need a pen. When I asked a guy for a pen so I could get an autograph, he said "Sorry bro, no pen." So.......I figured, just walk up to him. And I walked alongside him and said "Travis!" And he smiled and came to shake my hand. He introduced me to his wife Kelly and her mom as well as their child. I asked what they were currently doing as well as telling him about my band, "The Earaches." He smiled and said, "Fantastic name mate." He was so courteous. It absolutely made my day. After a few minutes of small talk, I excused myself from their presence and wished him and his family a safe time in NYC. I then walked about 20 feet and put on my headphones for some music and turned around and shouted "Thanks for the music!" He smiled and said "Cheers mate!" It was a good day to say the least. No wait, it was a great day!!
