The Man Who - nominated for best British album of past 30 years. Funky. Make sure to throw those votes at Travis come 'voting period'... whenever that may be.
British Album of 30 Years:
The British Album of 30 years category is supported by BBC Radio 2. The 10 nominated albums are decided by sales figures over the last 29 years, and they also must be a past BRIT Award winner, in the Album category. Radio 2 listeners may cast one free online vote for your favourite BRITs Album of 30 years within the entire voting period. Any additional votes that you make will be discounted. The winner will be the Album which receives the most votes once the vote has closed. |

But of course The Man Who had to be in the list. What was the word on the street? One out four British household own the album? Votes shall go to Travis but still there are some options making it hard to decide. Urban Hymns, Morning Glory, Brothers In Arm... are decent eye catchers. Then Duffy, Keane, Dido... yep they can be considered as good with those mentioned albums. But I mean are they THAT good to be in the list?
P.S. Why on earth 12 Memories is not in the list? Ahem...
Edit: Sales figures, eh? Now I see. Never reply a post before reading it. |

Some great albums in the list but I will definitely be voting for Travis. It would be amazing if they could win this. It could help interest in the band again. |

Unfortunately, Travis fans from around the world can't vote.
The site only allow the people in UK and US to cast a vote.
I just can't understand their logic. :( |

You have to register, Bennie.
And Sfrums is right, only people in the UK or the US can vote. It doesn't make any sense. If it was just the UK I'd understand... but why the US and not any other country in the world??? Rubbish. |

It's too bad that people outside UK and USA can't vote. Anyway, great news! Nice to see Travis nominated. :) |
