i am 23 years old. my mam just threw a freaker at me, calling my father into the room to tell me that i am not allowed be a mod. it is 2009 and i was just painting my nails white-obviously a sign of a dangerous gang brawler fom the 1960's...
i wouldn't mind but she totally fed my Biba and Twiggy obsession when i was younger.
it is in no way my most extreme look either, i've had purple mohawks,dressed head to toe in stoner rainbow-brights, shaved sections on my head, dressed entirely in black, dressed exclusively in mens clothes, had amy winehouse-style unwashed beehives, full on punk clothes...etc
i am lost

my parents used to run the only disco in town during the eighties. the mods would turn up, sit down all night and scowl, then a Jam song would come on and they would tear the place apart.they had to stop playing stuff like that to avoid trouble.
