Came way too early before the doors opened, but one hour before that I met the guys, and they were just lovely :D
Had a wee chat with them, which was awesome :)
Also got a photographer (who happened to be there because they were gonna get interviewed and such :P ) to take a pic of us :)
*hopes it works*

No freakin' way! You got to meat the band? What did you guys talk about?
I was at the concert too. It was amazing. It just proved to me that Travis really is the sweetest, most sympathetic band in the business. PLus the music is beyond incredible of course.
I wish I'd been closer to the stage though, and I'm not sure if Grieghallen was the right place for the concert. Both audience and band would have been more comfortable in a more intimate setting I think. But hey, I'm not complaining, I got ot see Travis live tonight! I'm all smiles :)
"Ye ye ye, ye ye ye, you've got my eyes, we can see what you'll be, you can't disguise.."
My all time favorite Travis song. And it's got such a touching story behind it. can't stop singing it :) |

I came like two hours before they opened the doors :P
And at 6-ish I walked around the hall for the last time, I`d told myself, and I bumped into them :)
Hmmm well we talked about this and that :P They commented my scottish accent though, yes scottish! Haha, for some reason I change accent depending on who I`m talking with and how they talk. First Dougie, Neil and Andy stood there, and I walked up and talked with them, and afterwards Fran walked up on us and was like: Why do you sound scottish?!
That was quite funny :P
They`re amazing :)
Great to hear you were there too! :D I had an amazing time! Went with my parents :S Hah! We were sitting at the 21st row! But when the audience stood up, I went down to the fifth row :P In the stairs :) Took heaps of pics :)
We finally got to see them :D
*Raises glass*
Cheers! |

Couldn't agree more! I seriously couldn't stop smiling throughout the concert. They completely captivated me from start till end.
I have a habit of changing accents depending on who I'm speaking to as well. Mostly it's a mix between US and UK though, never tried scottish before, lol. But I'd be extremely nervous if I met the band, and the words would probably have come out all wrong anyway :P Glad you got to see them though. Man, I'm jealous! |
