Ja, Fred ;)
I think many people feel that way today.
Have you heard about the project of the Goethe-Institute? ("Goethe Institut" = a bit like a German equivalent of the British Council or the Institut Français).
--> CNN site, with videos
I'm excited to see the dominoes fall, if only on TV.
(We mustn't forget, though, that November 9 was also the day of the "Reichskristallnacht/Night of Broken Glass" in 1938...)

Thanks for the Goethe Institute link.
Regarding Kristallnacht, have a look at this :

those are called "Krapfen" in Bavaria, and "Pfannkuchen" in Berlin itself *lol*

P.S.: I should probably add that they are called "Berliner" in most parts of Germany ;) |

The Domino-Wall-project was just SO cool!
--> you can watch a part of it here.
(The Goethe Institute sent 1.000 giant "Dominoes" to places all over the world, mostly to places that are somehow "divided". Students and artists painted the "stones" and sent them back to Berlin, where they were put in a line alongside the former course of the real wall that had divided the city in two. And yesterday night, the Domino-Wall came to a fall to mark the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the real Berlin Wall.)
