How do you guys feel about this moon impact thing? I'm sure the moon gets hit all the time by stuff, but I'm not sure I like the idea of people doing it. Even if it is in a spot we can't see or it is just a teeny tiny boo boo. I don't know, it just kind of bothers me. The moon belongs to everybody in the whole world, not just NASA.
Just wondered how others felt about this, especially people in countries other than the USA. |

it bothers me, too.
I can't explain why...
it's like... I don't know... as if there was a great public garden, and one day a family decided to use part of it to grow their own vegetables... what if every family decided to do the same thing?
apparently, the "vegetable growing people" also have their own song for the project...
"Finding Water on the Moon"... my oh my...
OK, stupid metaphor. It's late (11pm) and I'm exhausted. |

It strikes me as a really random nutty thing to do. I hope they share their findings with scientists everywhere and don't just put it in some classified NASA document but even if they share...it's just WEIRD.
